Mark Johnson - State Government Relations,
Business Development, Civil Justice, and Natural Resource Policy
Mark Johnson is an experienced litigator who, ironically, works with many Georgia360 clients to help defuse the kinds of issues that would otherwise lead to expensive lawsuits. Mark represents clients on government relations issues, and brings the intellect of an experienced attorney with an active legal practice to the public policy.
Mark has detailed knowledge of state and federal laws in such areas as environment and natural resources, product liability, personal injury, legal process, insurance and financial services. This background gives him the ability to instantly understand how a potential law or regulation will impact a client, and translate that knowledge into terms understood by executives, legislators and policy makers.
A graduate of the University of Georgia and the University of Georgia School of Law, Mark was a state finalist for the Rhodes Scholarship and served as president of the Gridiron Secret Society.
Outside of the office, Mark serves on the boards of St. Simons Wesley Methodist Church, the Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce, Glynn County United Way Board, the University of Georgia National Alumni Association and Magnolia Manor. Mark and his wife Ginny reside in St. Simons and have two sons and two daughters.
Mark is based in Georgia360’s coastal office, but also spends time in Atlanta representing clients before the state legislature and state agencies.
