Brad Alexander - State Government Relations,
Media Relations and Corporate Communications
Brad Alexander guides Georgia360 clients -- from Fortune 500 corporations and small businesses, to professional associations and non-profits -- to victory in tough public policy fights. Brad’s work focuses on blending state lobbying, media relations, online communications, advertising and grassroots organizing into custom solutions for the toughest policy problems.
He most recently completed a tenure as Chief of Staff to Lt. Governor Casey Cagle with a focus on operating all aspects of the Georgia State Senate and the Lt. Governor’s office. In that position, Brad played a role in virtually every piece of legislation passed by the General Assembly (as well as shaping an $18 billion state budget). His service included a heavy focus on state taxation, appropriations, telecommunications, energy, financial services and health care.
Brad also spent over a decade as a congressional press secretary, political consultant and corporate communicator. Among other things, he played a key strategic role for U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson’s successful campaign and served as spokesman for a high profile U.S. House member. While serving in Washington, he also worked on several telecommunications and privacy related policy initiatives.
Brad is based in our Atlanta office, but spends most of his time wherever public policy debates of interest to our clients take place. He has earned several accolades for his work, including recently being named one of the “Most Influential Georgians” by James magazine and one of the “Top 40 Georgians Under 40” by Georgia Trend magazine.
In addition to his day job, Brad serves on the Board of Visitors of Emory University, works as an adjunct scholar for the Georgia Public Policy Foundation, and volunteers at the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House. He completed his undergraduate degree at Berry College, and earned a graduate degree at Emory. He and his wife Nicole live in Decatur, Georgia.
