Ben Hartman - State Government Relations Business Development, Taxation, Land Use, and Corporate Management Policy

A veteran corporate attorney and active member of the St. Simons community, Ben provides strategic counsel and government relations representation to corporate and community clients of Georgia360. Many of the largest companies in southeast Georgia rely on his role as a trusted advisor as they work to grow their businesses. And, Ben’s deep understanding of Georgia tax law enables him to help all of our clients quickly decode the often vaguely written -- but broadly impactful -- changes to tax law that move through the legislature each year.

In addition to government relations, Ben helps clients grow their businesses through his extensive network of contacts across Georgia, and his deep understanding of the issues that uniquely impact clients working on Georgia’s coast.

Ben graduated from Furman University and the University of Georgia School of Law. While in Athens, Ben was selected to be a member of the Gridiron Secret Society. Ben is member of the State Bar of Georgia and is a Fellow of the Lawyers Foundation of Georgia. Active in the Fiduciary Law Section of the State Bar, Ben is a Past President of the Brunswick and Glynn County Bar Association.

Additionally, he is an elder at St. Simons Presbyterian Church and is on the Boards of the Coastal Georgia Historical Society, the Coastal Medical Access Project and Coastal Georgia Community College Foundation. He is a graduate of Leadership Glynn. Ben is married to Leslie Hartman and they have three children: Hill, Curry and Spence.

Ben is based in the coastal office of Georgia360, but also spends time in Atlanta representing clients before the state legislature and state agencies.
